Microsoft has lined up to revolutionize the AI environment in UAE by investing $1.5 billion and promised to develop one million people by the end of 2027.
Microsoft unveils a groundbreaking undertaking for evolving the digital usability of the UAE through preparing an impressive one million citizens. To be proficient in AI by 2027, It reveals AbuDhabi. Announced by Microsoft Vice Chairman Brad Smith with the participation of the UAE’s Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the UAE Government. The declaration is one of the most grandiose plans for AI education and investment.
As Microsoft invests USD 1.5b, Its plan to equip the UAE with state of the art artificial intelligence tools. Microsoft compliments the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031. The process is already under way, building on a partnership with the UAE government on an AI training program for 100,000 employees of the UAE government by 2025. Microsoft, which has earlier categorized this AI revolution for the students and professionals. Government sector is now expanding its area to the civil people and private sectors making AI skills available for the whole nation.
Still, the element of astonishment goes much further than that. Microsoft invests USD 1.5b, including the AI technology systems that include AI for Good Lab, Responsible AI Center, and Global Engineering Development Center. AI Center has all been set in Abu Dhabi. The goal is to attest the UAE to a premiere knowledge hub for both sustainable, responsible AI and for any AI that brings about change.
Leveraging the power of talent is this program ready-made to transform the UAE’s economy and positioning the nation for the establishment of the UAE as a force to reckon on the international AI stage by 2031.
